真沒想到距離我們第一次見面，轉眼間就過了六年了呢。與你相遇的每一天，總是很有趣，從來沒有一刻是無聊的。一定是因為這樣，這段時光才會感覺稍縱即逝吧。在我們相遇超過兩千天後，我就再破例一次，寫封信給你。
明明才剛過完建國紀念日，沒想到你卻突然說要暫時離開艾維隆。真是的，好不容易從那些繁忙的慶祝活動中脫身，卻連陪你最好朋友的時間都沒辦法留下嗎？
雖說你也不是第一次不在艾維隆，不過大家還是有點擔心你。芙蘭和約翰在訓練場上一邊鍛鍊，一邊爭論要不要在你的行李箱內多放點馬鈴薯。夏綠蒂和琳恩準備了不少裝備，要你帶在身上，希望能在途中派上用場。米海爾寫了本跟磚頭一樣厚的美食指南，告訴你路上能去哪裡找到好吃的。原本書上註記：「路過伊索拉時，千萬要注意。」不過這句話在總統大人的抗議下刪除了。繆雖然還是像平常一樣，體貼地說會繼續協助你，但她現在布丁吃得比平時還少，就算是瑪莉夫人特製的奶茶布丁，她也只吃一個就說夠了，真反常。不過她依然會把布丁分給K。奧蕾亞認真地替你那件披風補強。她說現在就算是溫迪戈在一旁，只要有那件披風，身體還是能夠暖和得像是在陽光下。坎娜倒是跟往常一樣，即使不能離開王城，卻依然一直在你耳邊吵著要跟你一起去。而盧因還是老樣子，端著一杯黑咖啡，笑著說會在你不在的期間，將一切打理好。我猜你讀到這裡時冒了點冷汗吧，哈哈。

倒是你，我不在你身邊的時候，可別太想念我了。雖然你總說作為君主，你還不夠格，不過在我心裡你早就是個優秀的君主了。這次也不過就是為了點財務問題，讓你非得踏上這趟旅程。但你知道的，只要你需要我時，我一直都在，畢竟我們可是簽下了「終身」合約呢。所以離開後不許忘了我，要是你敢把我忘掉，等到我咻一下飛到你身邊時，我可是會揍你一頓的。

Don't worry, I promise I’ll do my best to keep the castle exactly as it is—at most, maybe a few crumbs will fall off. It’s going to be boring without you, but I know you’ll come back sooner or later, so I can endure this little bit of waiting. Besides, it’s not the first time I’ve waited for you. As for you, don’t go missing me too much while I’m not by your side! Even though you always say you aren't "qualified" enough to be a Monarch, in my heart, you’ve been an excellent Monarch for a long time.
